My Leadership Journey
I am a grower of companies and careers. I joined a start-up professional services firm as the seventh employee. Ten years later I was named President, and grew the company from 300 employees to over 1000. After that company was acquired and rolled-into a larger unit, I grew that organization as CEO from $700K in revenue to over $1B in a few short years. I am a CEO's CEO, having led 16 divisional CEO's in my last role. My greatest thrill is helping others grow.
Growth is a Sign of Life
I realized very early on in my career that the only way for a company to grow and be successful is for the individuals within that company to be interested in growing themselves. I became a huge fan of personal development, gobbling up every article, business book and new method that would provide an edge to the development of our people. I also made the observation that the individuals who were most likely to be successful within our company were those who were interested in growith.
